MEET OUR BOARD





David Pincheira - Director

David is passionate about issues of social justice. He is a first generation Australian, from Chilean heritage with a love for sports, music and Latin-American culture. David completed a Biochemistry/Chemistry course in 2001 and then went on to complete a Diploma of Education. Having had some negative experiences in his own schooling, David is very intentional about his beliefs and approach to education. He strives to bring engaging and positive learning experiences to his teaching which has been received well by his students across various Secondary Colleges in Victoria. David volunteered at the 2008 Melbourne Homeless World Cup where he supervised a group of student volunteers. This gave him a valuable opportunity to learn about the issues of homelessness and culminated in the birth of Reflection Outreach. David pursued a career change into carpentry and completed a Certificate IV in Training And Assessment and obtained his Domestic Building Unlimited Licence. Currently David is teaching VET/Building and Construction. He would love to be able to use his skills to construct accommodation for those impacted by family violence and have students participate in the design and building process.








Kate Pincheira - Chairperson

Kate is passionate about living a happy healthy life and aims to uplift those she interacts with. She has a range of experience in Early Childhood and Primary Education and Bachelor of Education Major in Child Development and Visual Arts, RMIT). She has also completed a Certificate II in Community Health Education. She is a mother of 5 and constantly learning about life, health and happiness from raising them. She is an artist, an art teacher and applies creativity and innovation to all aspects of her life. She loves to share ideas and learn from others. Kate has been passionate about mentoring young people since beginning her teaching career, she has had a heart for those who are vulnerable in our communities and is particularly passionate about providing innovation that is “set apart” and meets needs that are not already being met with particular focus on fostering independence and restoring self belief.







Adrian Praeger - Treasurer

Mr Adrian Praeger joined Reflection Outreach in 2020, having been aware of its efforts previously. He currently holds the role of treasurer, a role he holds or has had in several clubs and associations. Adrian is passionate about enabling children to have a stable family home and upbringing, free from all forms of violence. Mr Adrian Praeger is a consultant neurosurgeon, having been admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2020. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy. He also has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.







Carolyn Attard - Secretary

Carolyn Attard is a recently retired Primary School teacher. Educated at Burwood Teacher's College and Latrobe University, she has a Bachelor of Education, working in the field of education for more than 30 years. Carolyn has a particular interest in helping and mentoring students who are struggling with their learning and self esteem. She has been involved in community education, volunteering her time to tutor struggling students with their learning.







Moses Tadokata - Board Member

Moses has a large amount of experience in Information Communication and Technology (ICT). From planning and implementing to training and management in Medical Health Services for the Department of Health Victoria. He is currently the ICT Network Coordinator since 2007 for the Djerriwarrh Health Services (DjHS). Moses has done an extensive amount of volunteer work for his birth country, The Solomon Islands in ICT for The Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Investment and The Solomon Islands High Commision in Canberra. Moses is passionate about Education and Training to support independence and development for young people.
